Praline Pecan Whiskey Cake

This cake is the best thing I’ve EVER eaten!! I’ve had it twice - a friend brought it to two different birthday parties. This time, I’m trying to lose weight, so I would just take one bite with a spoon and just close my eyes and enjoy it for as long as I could. Of course I had several bites over several days. The flavors are like an explosion - with different parts of the cake offering a different but equally delicious blast of flavor and goodness (the cake, the icing, and the gooey part where the nuts are). I literally can’t think of anything I have ever eaten that tastes better - even crème brûlée, even lobster tail, even my grandmother‘s chicken paprikash. If I could have only one thing for the rest of my life, it would be this cake :) Try it and you'll see I'm not exaggerating :)

This beautiful cake fed 16 people with some left over. It was fabulous! Everyone raved about the taste and how moist and the richness. Kathy, you are a master chef!
